Spring Start-Up & Inspection for Your Irrigation System
Grounded Irrigation and Lawncare offers a complete Spring Start-Up and inspection of your irrigation system. The Spring Start-Up includes the following:
- Careful pressurizing and testing of the mainline to check for leaks.
- Each zone will be run to check for breaks in underground lines, and any filters will be examined for damage or clogs.
- All sprinkler nozzles will be examined for uneven spray patterns and other defects.
- Exposed drip zones will be assessed thoroughly to ensure every emitter is working properly; buried drip zones will be checked in several places to ensure water is reaching all parts of the garden.
- The backup batteries in the controller will be replaced, and the controller programming will be reviewed for water efficiency. If needed, suggestions will be made for possible water savings or better watering practices.
- At the conclusion of the start-up, the customer will be given a report on the state of their system and may choose to have defects repaired. We may be able to repair defects during the same visit, or parts will be ordered, and another visit will be scheduled.
